Product Overview

Upgrading the lighting behind your RAM 1500 has never been easier. The Stage Series Reverse Light Kit combines strong performance with a clean factory-style installation. Besides significantly improving reverse visibility, this kit also adds a distinctive red running light and, when equipped with C1R pods, an additional high-power brake light.

The included plug-and-play wiring harness connects directly to the factory trailer hitch wiring, allowing the lights to work automatically with your vehicle. When reversing, the pods activate as powerful backup lights, providing much more illumination than the standard reverse bulbs.

Easy Plug-and-Play Installation

The system uses custom connectors that plug directly into the original wiring of your vehicle. This means no cutting wires, drilling holes, or routing cables to the front of the truck.

During normal driving, the pods function as a red accent light together with the tail lights. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, they instantly switch to a high-output white backup light.

If you choose the C1R configuration, the pods also act as a 4th brake light, activating every time the brake pedal is pressed. For those who want manual control of the main beam, an optional universal backup harness can be installed.

Significantly Brighter Reverse Lighting

Standard reverse lights often provide limited visibility when backing up in dark environments. The Stage Series pods use high-intensity LEDs combined with advanced TIR optics, delivering light output that is several times stronger than factory bulbs. This creates a wider and brighter illumination area behind the vehicle, improving safety and confidence while reversing.

Integrated Red Running Light

Each LED pod features an integrated red backlight, which illuminates the optic for a distinctive appearance while driving. This design creates a modern accent lighting effect that stands out compared to traditional small indicator LEDs.

Optional SafetyStrobe Brake Function (C1R)

With the C1R option, the red light also functions as a high-power brake light. When braking, the light activates instantly to improve visibility to vehicles behind you.

Additionally, the system includes an optional SafetyStrobe feature, which flashes the brake light briefly when braking begins. This feature can be easily turned off if preferred.

Advanced TIR Optics

Unlike traditional reflector or lens-based lighting systems that lose light through internal reflections and glare, the Stage Series pods use custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics.

This design captures nearly all of the light produced by the LED and directs it precisely where it is needed, resulting in better efficiency, reduced glare, and higher usable brightness.

The molded optic also functions as the primary lens, eliminating the light loss that typically occurs when light passes through an additional outer lens.

Optimized Beam Patterns

All beam patterns are designed using advanced optical simulation software to maximize practical performance.

The flood pattern provides wide and uniform illumination:

• 50° x 50° spread for SSC1 pods

• 70° x 45° spread for C2 2.0 pods

Unlike generic flood lights that simply diffuse a spotlight beam, these optics are engineered to provide consistent brightness across the entire coverage area.

Sport vs. Pro Output

The SSC1 and C2 2.0 LED pods are available in two output levels:

• Sport – excellent performance for everyday use

• Pro – approximately double the total light output

Both versions utilize high-intensity LEDs and precision TIR optics for exceptional focus and brightness.
