Product Overview

The Stage Series Ditch Light Kit for RAM 1500 (2019–2024) provides a practical and powerful way to add auxiliary lighting to your truck. The kit allows two SS5, SS3, or C2 2.0 Stage Series LED pods to be mounted near the A-pillars above the hood, improving visibility during off-road driving or low-light conditions.

The brackets are precisely designed using CAD technology to align perfectly with the vehicle’s original mounting locations. Installation is straightforward and does not require cutting or drilling. The slim design also ensures that the brackets do not interfere with opening or closing the hood.

Durable Stainless Steel Construction

The mounting brackets included in this kit are manufactured from thick-gauge stainless steel, offering excellent strength and corrosion resistance. Unlike brackets made from mild steel, stainless steel construction ensures long-term durability even in harsh weather conditions.

Thanks to the rigid design, the lights remain stable during driving and do not vibrate or bounce, even on rough terrain.

Advanced TIR Optics

The Stage Series LED pods use custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics to maximize lighting efficiency. Traditional reflectors and lenses often lose part of the light output internally or through glare.

TIR optics capture nearly all of the light produced by the LED and focus it precisely where it is needed. This results in stronger illumination, better beam control, and reduced glare.

In the SS3 and C2 2.0 pods, the molded TIR optic also functions as the primary lens, eliminating light loss that normally occurs when light passes through an additional outer lens.

Optimized Beam Performance

All Stage Series lighting patterns are developed using advanced optical simulation technology to provide practical beam shapes for real-world driving.

The Combo beam pattern combines driving and flood optics to deliver both distance and wide-area illumination.

Typical beam coverage includes:

• SS5: approximately 70° × 30° pattern

• SS3: approximately 65° × 25° pattern

• C2 2.0: approximately 55° × 20° pattern

This balanced beam design makes the lights suitable for a variety of driving conditions.

White or Selective Yellow Lighting

Stage Series LED pods are available in two color temperatures:

• 6000K Cool White – bright, modern light that matches most factory LED lighting.

• 3000K Selective Yellow – improved visibility in rain, fog, and snow while providing a distinctive off-road look.

Replacement lenses are also available, allowing you to easily change the beam pattern or light color if needed.

Sport or Pro Output Options

Stage Series pods are available in two power levels:

Sport Version

• High-performance LEDs for everyday use.

Pro Version

• Approximately double the light output, providing maximum brightness for demanding conditions.

Both options utilize high-quality LEDs combined with TIR optics to deliver highly focused and efficient light.

Integrated Backlight Accent

The ditch light pods also feature an integrated backlight function.

• SS3 and C2 2.0 pods include a bright amber backlight.

• SS5 pods offer a selectable backlight with eight color options.

Changing the backlight color on the SS5 is simple—just cycle the power on and off to select a color. No external controller or programming is required.

The backlight illuminates the entire optic, creating a distinctive accent lighting effect while also improving visibility when the main beam is not active.

Optional Snap-On Covers

Snap-on covers are available for Stage Series pods. These covers help protect the lights from dirt, debris, and road contaminants while also meeting regulations in areas where auxiliary lights must be covered.

Built for Harsh Conditions

Stage Series lighting products are tested extensively to ensure long-term durability. They undergo testing for vibration, moisture resistance, corrosion protection, and temperature extremes ranging from -40°F to 185°F, meeting SAE testing standards similar to factory vehicle components.
