A hydraulic lifter fails and damages the camshaft. The only remedy is an extensive repair with complete replacement of all affected parts.

However, replacing the components with standard parts does not prevent the issue from reoccurring in the future.
The problem can easily happen again if nothing is changed.

The standard kit includes:

• Cylinder heads (left & right), fully refurbished and LPG-ready (new LPG seats, guides, and valves)

• Head gasket set by MAHLE (OEM quality)

• Cylinder head bolt sets left & right by MAHLE (OEM quality) – order 2 sets

• HD timing chain kit (with reinforced aluminum guide and upgraded chain)

• MTS OEM Non-MDS camshaft (truck-spec, not for automotive use — “car” variant also available)

• OEM MOPAR (HELLCAT) Heavy-Duty Non-MDS lifters (Made in the USA, per set of 4 pcs)
