Product Overview

The CrossLink Grille Lightbar Kit for RAM 1500 (2019–2024) from Diode Dynamics provides a powerful and clean lighting upgrade for your truck. This system allows four SS5 LED pods to be mounted directly in front of the factory grille, creating a sleek integrated lightbar setup.

Custom-designed brackets were developed using CAD technology to perfectly match the vehicle’s factory mounting points on the bumper. Because of this precise fitment, the installation process requires no drilling, cutting, or permanent modifications.

Built for Maximum Performance

The SS5 LED pods included in this kit deliver some of the highest light output available in a 5-inch auxiliary light. They combine powerful LED emitters with proprietary Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics, ensuring maximum light efficiency and precise beam control. The result is strong, focused illumination in a compact and extremely durable housing.

Adjustable Backlight Accent

The white version of the kit includes SS5 pods with a selectable backlight feature. Drivers can choose from eight different backlight colors, providing a unique styling accent or improved visibility when the main beam is not active.

Changing the color is simple – just cycle the power on and off to select your preferred color. No external controller or complex programming is required.

The backlight illuminates the entire TIR optic, creating a bold and modern lighting effect.

Note: The yellow lens version is available with an amber backlight only.

CrossLink Modular System

Diode Dynamics' CrossLink technology allows multiple SS5 pods to be connected together to form a rigid lightbar assembly. Instead of using multiple connectors, the system uses a single-piece CNC-machined aluminum link, providing excellent strength while still allowing adjustment.

The design supports straight or slightly curved lightbar configurations, giving you flexibility during installation. Because each SS5 pod already includes threaded mounting points, there is no need to purchase special linking versions.

Functional Beam Patterns

All Stage Series beam patterns are designed using advanced optical simulation modeling to maximize real-world performance.

The Combo beam pattern combines both driving and flood optics:

• A 30° x 20° driving beam provides long-distance illumination.

• A 70° x 30° flood spread lights up the surrounding area.

This balanced setup offers excellent visibility for both distance and peripheral lighting.

White or Selective Yellow Output

This lighting kit is available in two different color temperatures:

• 6000K Cool White – clean, bright output that matches most factory LED lighting.

• 3000K Selective Yellow – improved contrast in rain, fog, or snow, while also providing a distinctive off-road look.

Interchangeable Lens System

The SS5 pods feature replaceable lenses, allowing you to change the beam pattern or color without replacing the entire light. Optional replacement lenses make it easy to customize your setup whenever needed.

Sport or Pro Power Levels

The kit is available in two output versions:
