WHAT IT DOES

The Monster Ram improves the airflow of the intercooler. It flows 72.7 lbs/min with Banks' new Coil Heater and high-Flow Billet Intake Plate compared to the stock of 38.6 lbs/min MAF. That's a huge 88.3% improvement over the stock you can feel!

The patented design increases boost without increasing the back pressure at the turbine. The result is improved engine response, efficiency and headroom for everyday driving and heavy transport.

There are two devices on your Cummins engine that increase air tightness; the turbocharger and the intercooler.

Anything in the system that does not create airtightness reduces the airtightness. We designed the Monster Ram to regain that lost airtightness.

MASS AIRFLOW

The Secret of the performance of the Monster Ram is not only the air flow, but the quality and literal weight of the air flowing. Your Cummins engine is limited in the volume of air it can flow through its 6 cylinders, even at maximum rpm.

By increasing the mass of the air supplied to each cylinder, your stock-tuned engine will breathe more efficiently with less stress and pave the way for huge power gains when stacked with a tune.

HOW WE DO IT


Your Cummins engine consumes a huge amount of air and struggles to breathe through the small, flattened intake. The stock Horn causes boost loss at the same current, while the Banks Monster Ram has a wide, unrestricted, free-flowing path.

Designing a better solution

All other replacement manifolds are compromised thanks to the No. 1 fuel line, which blocks the airflow path.

The Monster-Ram offers an unheard-of airflow thanks to the custom-made fuel line.

All this without the need for tuning.

Keep an eye on everything


If you have an existing iDash installation, The Monster Ram has four 1/8 inch NPT ports for installing temperature, pressure, or flow sensors.

For Peak Performance, The Monster Ram includes a custom high-flow billet intake plate. This plate is machined to the optimum thickness and has an oversized CNC inlet port that is matched to the sample Ram for zero restriction and maximum airtightness.

Our engineers designed an all-new heating solution for the Monster Ram that provides minimal airflow disruption.
