Unfortunately, a complaint that we regularly see on the HEMI engines from 2009 with VVT and MDS.
A hydraulic lfiter breaks down and takes the camshaft with it. Only remedy is a comprehensive repair and replace everything completely.

But replacing with the standard parts does not provide a cure for recurrence in the future.
The problem simply occurs again if nothing changes.

The only solution is to upgrade to better components and remove the already often annoying MDS (clinder deactivation)

• Cylinder heads left & right fully overhauled and LPG suitable.(New LPG seats, guides and valves)
• Head gasket set from MAHLE (original quality)
• Cylinder head bolts sets left & right of MAHLE (original quality) (order 2 sets)
• HD distribution timing kit(with weighted aluminum guide and upgraded chain)
• MTS OEM NON MDS camshaft (truck spec not for automotive use, also a" car " variant available)
• OEM Mopar (HELLCAT) heavy Duty non-MDS lifters (Made in the USA) (per SET 4 pieces)
• 4 pcs MDS block off plugs (no more solenoids needed)
• 8 exhaust manifold studs
• 9 exhaust manifold bolts
• Wiring harness for VVT solenoid without MDS solenoids

We recommend expanding the standard set with:

• Flattened exhaust manifolds left & right (check if necessary)
• Water pump or at least the gasket!
• Thermostat  or at least the gasket!
• Spark plugs
• Oil filter and engine oil
• Multi-string

NOTE: AFTER THE REPAIR IT IS NECESSARY TO PERMANENTLY DISABLE THE MDS SYSTEM SOFTWARE MODERATELY.
