This adjustment does not noticeably adversely affect fuel consumption and increases the reliability of your vehicle. Your engine will run more regularly, no longer hesitate when accelerating and the vehicle as a whole will be more pleasant to drive and shift.
Disabling MDS and/or cylinder deactivation is not a solution, nor does it prevent the problem of run-in camshafts and worn lifters on the HEMI engines. This can only be solved by replacing the failing hardware with modified and improved parts.
